One of the most popular breakout sessions at BarCamp Diaspora was the healthcare session. Participants at the July 25th event in DC discussed the problems facing Ghana's healthcare delivery and systems, how they differed from what they had seen in the US and how Ghana's could be improved. A lot of the attendees were medical school students or professionals in the health-care industry.

Organizing a breakout
There are no panels planned for BarCamp Diaspora '09. Instead, we will have breakout sessions which, we believe, allows for participation from all attendees and aids dialogue and discussion.Topics for discussion will be decided during the Agenda Building session where all who are interested in organizing or leading a session will announce their topics and all participants will indicate their level of interest. Sessions will thus be based topics with the most interest for all participants.
